Ascent at Mountain Air – Oct 15 2022

This is quite a place. I remember visiting Mountain Air for the first time more than twenty years ago.

Mountain Air and Glory Hound Events are excited to announce the sixth Ascent on Mountain Air 5K in the evening of Saturday, October 15, 2022. This 5K road race climbs 1,800 feet, from the community’s main gate near Burnsville to the private air strip on the top. At 4,600 feet elevation, this is the most spectacular finish line in Western North Carolina.
