2021 UNCA Virtual Pi(e) Run – March 12 – March 14, 2021

ABOUT THE EVENT

In honor of Pi Day, UNC Asheville is hosting a virtual fun-run on the weekend of March 12th to March 14th starting at 3:14pm. Run or walk (or skip or trot) the 3.14 mile distance, which celebrates Pi’s value. The event is open to the public and has a registration fee of $15.00 and $10 for students. Teams of 5 can register for $45, teams of 6 for $55, teams of 7 for $65, teams of 8 for $75. Runners receive a pi run t-shirt!

Proceeds benefit the Asheville Initiative for Math at UNC Asheville, including Marvelous Math Club. Marvelous Math Club uses math as a catalyst to build leadership skills, create community and provide a space where elementary school students can grow academically and socially.
