LPC Frostbite 5k + 10k – February 16, 2020 – Lelia Patterson Center – Fletcher NC

This event has some serious history. In the early days it was just a 5k, but in more recent years a 10k was added to provide options for runners who wanted more distance than a 5k.

DESCRIPTION

The 28th Annual Frostbite 10K & 5K Run & 1-Mile Run/Walk, presented by the Lelia Patterson Center, takes place on Sunday, February 16th in Fletcher, North Carolina. Both courses provide views of Hutch Mountain and are on hilly to challenging terrain, with some steep inclines on both the 10k and 5k courses. The moderately rolling 1 mile course, makes this premier racing event an opportunity for all running levels and ages.

NEW FOR 2020 – All participants registered before February 10th will receive a finisher medal!

The Frostbite races begin and finish at the Lelia Patterson Center, located at Howard Gap Road & Naples Road in Fletcher, N.C. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the The iDream Athletes Foundation. The 2020 Frostbite event also will feature a Family Fun Day and Wellness Expo at the Lelia Patterson Center from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with games, local vendor booths, & music.
