13th Annual Butterfly 5k – August 11, 2019 – WWI Memorial Park – North Attleboro MA

The 13th annual Butterfly 5k will be held on Sunday, August, 11, 2019. All proceeds from the race will support The Julia Cekala Charitable Foundation. The ongoing mission of the foundation is the maintenance and expansion of Julia’s Garden and Playground located at the WWI Memorial Park.

Location: The 5k start is at the gate of the World War I Memorial Park at 401 Elmwood St., North Attleboro. The kids race starts by the Julia’s Playground at the top of the WWI Park.

5k Course: Some races brag that their course is flat – ours is downhill! Get a personal record on this net downhill, 5k (3.1 Miles) course. The 5k start is at 9:00am. The first mile drops over 100 feet, the second mile is level, the last mile is rolling.

Kids’ Fun Run: The kids’ fun run starts at 10:30am right next to Julia’s Playground inside the WWI Park. All participants will receive medals, Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 runners in each age category. Kids race fun run registration is only available online and is limited to 200 participants. There is a $5 fee for the kids’ fun run. Please click here for more information and to register your child.

Registration: Online Registration is available until noon on Friday, August 9th. The registration fee is $30 through Friday, August 9th. The fee is $35 on Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 12th. Race day registration will end promptly at 8:30am.

Saturday Registration/Number Pickup: Walk in registration and number pickup will be available at Julia\’s Garden on the grass picnic area near the playground from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, August 10th.
