The Scream! Half Marathon is one of the most unique half marathons in the country. Starting in Jonas Ridge, North Carolina, the course drops over 2,400 vertical feet through the lush forests of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the finish line in the ghost town of Mortimer, North Carolina. The field is limited to 300 participants by the US Forest Service and sells out quickly each year.
The race starts at 8:00 AM.
