Woodfin 5k – April 27, 2019 – Woodfin Elementary – Asheville NC

A very nice race that I have done several times. This is not one of those flat races in a park – but hey – this is Western North Carolina.

Woodfin Elementary School is excited to be hosting Woodfin’s 6th Annual, Read, Write & Run 5k! The proceeds from this race will be used to fund literacy & healthy living programs at Woodfin Elementary School, in addition to other community service programs. This is a family-friendly race, in which participants can either run or walk, which we hope will encourage healthy choices for the whole family.

This 5K runs through the beautiful hills of Woodfin, providing a satisfyingly challenging event for the whole family.
