Wanderlust Half Marathon + 10k + 5k – April 6, 2019 – Marketplatz Square – Fredericksburg TX

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Fredericksburg lies an hour or so northwest of San Antonio, and an hour or so west of Austin. Keep this in mind when you make your way out from either locale. Or find yourself a place to stay in town and enjoy what it offers before or after the race.

We’ll have a 13.1 half marathon, 10k and 5k. We’ll start at the Marktplatz (Market Square) in the heart of Fredericksburg. Half marathon runners will run to the famous Crapapple Road, which has great views and rolling hills in one large loop. Participants will return there, and be close to restaurants, clubs, shopping, wine, beer and German-style hospitality.

We’ll have a costume contest, too, so use your imagination and create something whimsical, carefree, time-period specific, or whatever tickles your fancy, if you choose to wear one. Even if you don’t wear a costume, we promise you’ll have a blast.

Races start at 8:00 AM.
