War Pony 5k – May 4, 2019 – Carrier Park – Asheville NC

You know what you’re getting when the race is at Carrier Park. Flat as a board.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

We are excited to host our second annual War Pony 5K race at Carrier Park in Asheville, N.C. Runners will run on paved and dirt paths around Carrier Park and the Hominy Creek Trail. The course runs along predominately flat trails that parallel the French Broad River.

Our course will be slightly different from last year. This year we will start and finish on the oval bike track that was once part of the speedway.

Strollers are welcome, no dogs on the course please.

All proceeds raised from the War Pony 5K will go directly toward fitness stations around our track at W.D. Williams for our students and community to use.
