New Courses for the 2019 Hot Chocolate 10k + 5k – January 26, 2019 – Asheville NC
Hey, the deja vu is over. Not by intention, the race courses for the Hot Chocolate races in Asheville have been changed. I have loved this race since I ran it the first time; the inaugural back in 2008. More recently, the organizers introduced a 5k option, very wise to attract more runners who are not quite ready for the distance in January.

The City of Asheville has informed us that Lyman St will be under construction during January of 2019 and will not be usable for our race. Check out our new 5k and 10k course.
