The Original Asheville Turkey Trot – November 22, 2018 – Pack Square – Asheville NC

An all-time favorite of mine, going back to the days when the Original Asheville Turkey Trot was at Carrier Park (which it eventually outgrew).

Come join Jus’ Running and the Asheville Running Community by participating in the 18th Annual Original Asheville Turkey Trot. This family-friendly event takes place Thanksgiving morning and has over 2000 participants running and walking through downtown Asheville and the beautiful neighborhoods of North Asheville. This event is a quintessential Asheville tradition and as one runner puts it:

“The Original Asheville Turkey Trot is put on by Asheville’s oldest running store, sponsored by local vendors, hosted in the heart of downtown, and all of the race proceeds benefit the local non-profit group Manna Food Bank. There is also a lot of volunteer participation from the running community; it’s my favorite race to be a part of!”
