Reindeer Run 5k – December 1, 2018 – Brevard NC

I’ve done this race several times over the past several years.  A nice course, rolling here and there and a cozy gym to enjoy for stretching and post race activities.  Lots of good homemade food as well.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Join us for the 14th annual Brevard Reindeer Run in the beautiful mountains of western NC on December 1, 2018. The terrain for this race is a few hills–nothing too steep, but mostly flat. Registration is in the warmth of the Boys and Girls Club Gym on Gallimore Road in Brevard with lot’s of warm drinks and snacks. Brevard’s Christmas festival and parade is held on the same day as the race so come and enjoy a whole day of fun!

EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE

The race starts promptly at 9 am in the parking lot of Boys and Girls Club of Brevard (11 Gallimore Road). There’s plenty of parking around the Boys and Girls Club–at the church across the street and the Brevard Elementary School across Hwy 276. Day-of registration will be done inside the Boys and Girls Club Gym building– starting at 7 am. No pre-registration day packet pick-up. T-shirts for all early registrants. Register by November 8th to make sure you get your correct size.
