Girls on the Run 5k – December 2, 2018 – Asheville NC

A perfect 5K for those ‘getting into running’. No pressure, just joy!

All girls and runners who are currently participating in the program are already registered for the 5K and will receive their 5K materials (bibs, pins, goody bags, tshirts) the morning of the event.

The 5K Course is a 3.1 mile course around the Asheville Outlets and Ridgefield Business Park. The 5K participants will pass a water stop on mile 1 and on mile 2. Cheer Teams will also be placed along the course to cheer on the girls and 5K participants.

ARE THERE AID STATIONS AVAILABLE?

Water will be available at the start. Two Aid stations will be available on the course. Each participant should plan to take no more than two servings of water at each Aid Station. Runners are also encouraged to bring water bottles along on the course. Additional water and snacks will be available at the finish line.

CAN I BRING MY DOG OR PET?

For safety, all furry friends are not allowed on the course or at the event, so please leave all pets at home on 5K day! All pets will be asked to return to the pet owner’s vehicle if spotted at the event.
