TW8k is Asheville’s Oldest Race and honors the life of the famed literary author Thomas Wolfe. In his short life, the Asheville native was known for his short stories, works and novellas. The Thomas Wolfe 8k is a fundraiser for the Asheville Track Club and other literacy related nonprofits.
