Cary Road Race 5 Mile + 5k – April 14, 2018 – Cary NC

It’s the 40th anniversary of this quite popular race.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The 40th Annual Cary Road Race is one of the area’s oldest events. A new course is being planned in Downtown Cary for 2018 in addition to food trucks, live bands, local beer and more. The longest event of the day will be a 5-Mile race replacing the 10K run in past years. The race is managed by Town of Cary Parks, Recreational and Cultural Resources.

The Cary Road Race 5-Miler is part of the Second Empire 2018 Grand Prix Series. Runners who participate in these races accumulate points and are awarded prizes at an awards banquet held at the Second Empire Restaurant at the conclusion of the Series.
