Leaf Art Dash 5k and Relay – August 5, 2017 – Asheville NC

The Leaf Art Dash 5k course starts and finishes in Downtown Asheville by the French Broad Chocolate Lounge near the monument. The race is Saturday, August 5, 2017 and kicks off the LEAF Downtown festival.

The run begins Saturday 9am with a chip-timed 5k for individual runners. The course travels through the city’s downtown and surrounding area. At the starting line, runners and families will get warmed up artfully and with a fun LEAF groove with Hard Exercise Works. Along the race, inspiring volunteers assist and guide runners, and roaming artists spice up the route with playful puppets, costumes, and artful moments. The LEAF Art Dash is one of the important fundraising tools directly supporting LEAF Schools & Streets bringing arts to our local youth in collaboration with local partners.
