Shamrock 5k + 10k – March 11, 2017 – Asheville Catholic School – Asheville NC
It’s the 11th year for this pair of races. With a few course adjustments along the way this has remained a very popular event. It’s well organized and the Asheville Catholic School has a nice gymnasium available for staying dry if it’s raining or staying warm if it’s cold. And we know that anything goes in March in Asheville.
The 10k is no piece of cake. Last year a new course was introduced and it has plenty of ups and downs, as did the previous course. The 5k runs a bit easier. The 10k is part of the Asheville Track Club Grand Prix series.
