Jolly Elf Trail Run 5k – December 10, 2016 – Wake Med Soccer Park – Cary NC

The 11th annual Jolly Elf Trail Run is coming up this Saturday at the Wake Med Cross Country Course in Cary.  The race proceeds will benefit the St. Michael Archangel Catholic School’s student activities and educational programs. Over 590 runners participated in this event last year.  This race is the last event in the highly competitive 13-race Second Empire Series. Read more about the Second Empire Series here.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The 11th annual Jolly Elf Trail Run benefits St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School in Cary, NC which serves more than 525 students from approximately 300 families. With almost 60 genuinely dedicated faculty and staff members, St. Michael School provides a Christ-centered Catholic education, with a focus on academic excellence, and development of each individual. Proceeds from the event will directly support student activities and educational programs for our students in Pre-K through Grade 8. St. Michael School is a 501(c) (3) organization.

The Jolly Elf Trail Run is the last event in the thirteen-race Second Empire Grand Prix Series. Runners who participate in these races accumulate points and are awarded money and prizes at an awards banquet held at the Second Empire Restaurant in January.
