This is the one of my favorite half marathons in the Charlotte area! My sister and I look forward to this race every year, because of it’s moderate to rolling course and great race swag! Who doesn’t love a warm and cozy post race hoodie? For you speed racers there is over $1,000 combined cash prize awards for top 3 overall in both the half and 5k. Check out last years results here.

This event was designed by runners for runners. Allowing local runners the opportunity to race the streets they train everyday. Check out the course here.On December 3rd 2011 the first #huntersvillehalf finished up with 221 5k and 357 half…this year there are already 431 5k and 916 half signed up…and still taking registration. Thank you everyone for your continued support over the years. Let’s make every year bigger than the last.

Numbers just rolled over 800 for the half marathon and 300 for the 5k. Plenty more open spots. Registration will remain open online and onsite until the race start on the 10th.
