University City Turkey Trot 5k – November 24, 2016 – Fresh Market – Charlotte NC

WAKE… RUN… FEAST!  The race slogan pretty much sums it up!  So get up, put your running shoes on and head out to Charlotte’s University City to earn your Turkey dinner by burning some BIG calories first!  Your participation supports Sickle Cell Partners of the Carolinas.

The University City Turkey Trot is an annual 5K race/walk held on Thanksgiving Day and sponsored by Sickle Cell Partners of the Carolinas.

Join fellow runners and walkers Thanksgiving Day for the 3rd annual University City Turkey Trot 5K at The Fresh Market at 3024 Prosperity Church Road in Charlotte for all of University City to enjoy!

After the race, cool down and enjoy a post-race mini-feast featuring food, drinks and music!

The University City Turkey Trot 5K also features a fun run for the kids and costumes are encouraged for all those young at heart! Prizes will be awarded for the top three costumes.
