Southpark Turkey Trot 8k + 5k – November 24, 2016 – Southpark – Charlotte NC

The Charlotte Southpark Turkey Trot is one of the city’s most popular and longest-running events!  It’s such a celebrated Thanksgiving tradition, the field has to be capped at 12,000 runners.  Distances offered are 8K, 5K, 1-mile and 26.2-yard “Tot Trot.”  There is also a costume contest, so you’ll see lots of Turkey feathers and pilgrims donning racing flats!

T-Shirts and medallions to 26.2 yd Tot Trot Participants (Youth size only) All Finishers in 1 Mile, 5K, and 8K will receive a unique Finisher’s Medallion All 5K participants will receive an official time (no awards offered in 5K) Costume Contest!!!! Special Awards to the best costumes! 2 Days for Registration and Packet Pick-up , Nov. 22 (Tues) from 1pm to 7pm and Nov. 23 (Wed) 11 am to 6pm , In the Race Headquarters Tent in the Southpark Mall Parking lot in front of Dicks Sporting Goods.
