Ruby C Hunt YMCA Turkey Trot – November 24, 2016 – Gardner-Webb University – Shelby NC

This family-friendly Turkey Trot 5k and fun run in Shelby even welcomes your four legged family members!  The course takes place through the heart of Boiling Springs and around the campus of Gardner-Webb University.  Race participation benefits the WE BUILD PEOPLE campaign and Girls on the Run.

WE BUILD PEOPLE is our annual campaign that helps us make membership, programs and services available to those in the community who could otherwise not afford them. So when you register, you are helping yourself and someone else in “building better lives inside and out.”

19th Annual Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 24 on the Campus of Gardner-Webb University. 8:30am – 5K Run/Walk, Dog/Owner, Stroller, 9:30am Kids Fun Run. Great event for the entire family on Thanksgiving Morning. Our 5k Run/Walk starts at 8:30 am and the 1/2 Mile Fun Run begins at 9:30 am. Early Registration is going on now until November 20; $20 Y members or $25 non members and $10 Fun Run. Our USATF certified course takes you through the heart of Boiling Springs, NC and around the campus of Gardner-Webb University.
