Anthem Richmond Marathon + Half Marathon – November 12, 2016 – Downtown – Richmond VA

Voted by Runners World as “Americas Friendliest Marathon” the Richmond Marathon takes place this Saturday in beautiful Richmond, VA!  The scenic course runs through the city’s most historic and beautiful neighborhoods as well as along the James River.  It’s also one of the top 25 Boston Qualifiers.  Not to mention the weather looks like it’s going to be fantastic!

Haven’t run Richmond yet? What are you waiting for?!  We love to show off the river so much that we even moved our finish line and post-race party to the riverfront. We’ve earned our rep as “America’s Friendliest Marathon” (thanks Runner’s World!) because of features like our junk food stops and wet washcloth stations! But the perks don’t end there. As you run, you’ll encounter live bands, DJs, spirit groups and Party Zones that will help push you through to the finish. Then, after the race, you can kick back and relax on Brown’s Island and celebrate with hot pizza and cold BEER!

Half Marathon starts at 7:30 AM; Marathon starts at 7:45 AM.
