Go Far 5k – November 5, 2016 – Showplace Courtyard – High Point, NC

The Go Far 5k Triad family event takes place this Saturday in downtown High Point.  If you’re not familiar with Go Far, it’s a 10-week comprehensive fitness program designed to teach children of all abilities about healthy eating, goal setting, and how to train to run a 5K!  Check out the NEW race route here.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, GO FAR offers an easy way for teachers, coaches and/or parents to create running clubs and family 5K events across the country, in communities small and large. The flexible, turn-key curricula can be offered in the classroom, during a summer camp, or as an after-school program. Teachers, coaches or parents interested in serving as positive role models and sharing their love of running receive webinar training and a wide variety of online resources and tips.
