Spinx Carolina Marathon – October 29, 2016 – Fluor Field – Greenville SC

The Carolina Marathon is part of the Spinx Run Fest, a six-event running extravaganza in upstate South Carolina. If you’ve run on the Swamp Rabbit Trail before you know it’s a great place for a marathon course because it’s mostly off-road and, best of all, almost completely flat.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The Spinx Carolina Marathon, featuring the Swamp Rabbit Trail between Greenville and Travelers Rest, is a scenic and not-too-hilly course. The race starts before dawn this year, so you’ll be rounding the lake at Furman just after daybreak. Also, a short loop at the north end of the course replaces the turnaround point used in previous events.
