Run for the Ribbons 5k – April 16, 2016 – Discovery Place Kids – Rockingham NC

This race is part of Spring Fest in downtown Rockingham. Other events include a car show, crafts, kids’ activities, and a musical performance by Bucky Covington from American Idol.

The 2016 Run for the Ribbons features a challenging course through downtown Rockingham down to Hitchcock Creek and back through the rolling hills – finishing at Discovery Place KIDS.

Run for the Ribbons is an annual family celebration that raises awareness and promotes healthy lifestyle choices including fitness, healthy eating and education. Join us for our 5K and Family Fun Run 1K as families throughout the Sandhills community pledge to be active together to promote healthy lifestyles. All proceeds benefit the FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital Foundation CARE Funds and Discovery Place KIDS-Rockingham.
