Hound Hustle 10k + 5k – April 10, 2016 – Brunswick Forest Veterinary Hospital – Leland NC

This is a flat and fast 10k + 5k pair that encourages pets to participate. Post race food will include pizza from Pizzettas. Funds raised benefit Brunswick County Animal Services.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The race is a normal 10K & 5K run with a 1-mile Trot with Spot that is primarily for dogs with owners running or walking with them. The 10K starts 10 minutes before the 5K so that 10K runners run unimpeded. Runners or walkers with dogs in the 5K are asked to please start in the back and keep your dog and other race participants safe by being very careful and cautious. You’ll have a great time and so will everyone else. The 10K is primarily for runners but we had one pooch in the 10K last year and he did very well – race wise and behavior wise!
