Greater Raleigh Young Life 5k – April 9, 2016 – Wakemed Soccer Park – Cary NC

The Young Life 5k is held on the Wakemed cross country course, which is nice because cross country courses a offer racers an off-road option. Proceeds will benefit Greater Raleigh Young Life.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

In 2015 this race had a field of over 360 entrants. Jay Yardley won the race in 19:28 while Emilie Buzitsky won the female title in 21:23, Omar Wiggan (16:44) and Mattie Webb (19:36) hold the men’s and women’s course marks, respectively. Both were set in 2014.

Once again, the race will be run on the cross-country course at WakeMed Soccer Park located at 201 Soccer Park Drive in Cary.
