Greater Goldsboro 10K + 5K + 1M – April 16, 2016 – Cornerstone Commons – Goldsboro, NC

This run is steeped in tradition. Since 1979 runners have hit the pavement, making this one of the oldest road races in North Carolina. This beautiful race is USATF certified and hosts a 10k, 5k, or 1M option.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The Greater Goldsboro Road Run is facilitated by the Sunrise Kiwanis of Goldsboro. The event is a fundraiser to help support our purpose of assisting the children and youth of our community. The funds generated from event sponsorships and participants go toward financial support for over 20 local organizations that assist the needy children and youth of Wayne County.

With the completion of the Streetscape project, our 10K run, 5K Run/Walk, and 1 mile Fun Run routes have returned downtown this year. The starting locations for all events will be near the Cornerstone Commons located in Goldsboro NC with all starting times at 9:00 AM. Muddy, the Carolina Mudcats baseball mascot, will join us this year in the 1 mile Fun Run and will sign autographs.
