Fight the Flame 5k – November 6, 2016 – McAlpine Creek Park – Charlotte NC

As many as 6 million Americans suffer from reflex sympathetic dystrophy/complex regional pain syndrome, a painful neurological condition that causes burning pain and other symptoms. All proceeds from this race will benefit the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association. There’ll be gift certificate prizes from Omega Sports for the top three overall men and women as well as for each age group winner.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The 4th annual Fight the Flame 5k is an official time-chipped race (and walk). The purpose of the race is to raise awareness and money for Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).

Prizes will be awarded to top runners.
