FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Our Charlotte, NC based 501c3 Non-profit organization was created to serve as a bridge between Title I elementary schools and literacy efficiency. We complete this mission by purchasing and donating books to Title I elementary schools across the country. In our short existence launching in 2013, we have been fortunate to purchase and donate over 20,000 new books to 850 classrooms across the country. In doing so we strive to instill hope and emphasize the importance of investing into the future leaders of our society. While we all know that teaching our youth has to be a combined effort in and out of school, we are focusing on creating programs and opportunities that allow parents, teachers, administrators, and our youth to be engaged through informal programs. Our outreach has continued to grow over the course of the past three years providing books to schools in over 11 states, and we continue to see the need,and continue to try and be a small part of a much larger plan to serve our communities.
