IronDog 5k – April 2, 2016 – NC State Centennial Campus – Raleigh NC

All pet owners know that taking your furry friend to the vet can be an enormous expense. This 5k raises funds to make sure sick pets get the care they need. The course is USATF certified and makes a winding loop around the NC State Centennial campus.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

NC State IRONDOG is a charity that raises money for animals whose owners cannot afford their medical care. IRONDOG members raise pledges for completion of endurance athletic events.

With the increasing cost of veterinary care many pet owners are forced to make difficult decisions based on financial constraints. In many of these cases, curative treatment options are available, yet not affordable. If we can help just one animal and its family the vision of IRONDOG will be fulfilled!
