Will Caviness Hero Run 5k + 14k – August 6, 2016 – Lindley Park – Greensboro, NC

Superheroes don’t have to be famous, they could be sitting right next to you. Pick someone that inspires you and join an inspiring group of runners for a 5k or 14k race in Lindley Park. This location consists of 107 beautiful acres of streams and nature.

So why a 5k and 14k? Will Caviness was stationed at both Greensboro Fire station 5 and 14. His last station at 14 is where he was promoted to the rank of fire captain and spent much of his free time training for the Chicago Marathon. So join us in honoring Will by running in either the 5k or 14k events.

Let’s show Greensboro what 1,000 heroes and superheroes look like. Come and run in your favorite hero costume. For some that might be a firefighter or police uniform and other it might be a superhero like Batman or Ironman. Get creative and we look forward to seeing the hero in you on race day.
