Run for the SON 5k – April 30, 2016 – Mt. Sinai Baptist Church – Shelby NC

This 5k will start and finish at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Shelby. April is one of the best times of the year for running — the weather is not too hot but not too cold, spring is in the air, and racing season will be in full swing.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Course Information: The race will start at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church down Mt. Sinai Church Road moving along Buckford Road, Clary Road, and back to Riverhill Road ending at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. The course is paved asphalt with moderate hills.

Weather: The Run for the SON 5K is a rain or shine event. Should there be inclement weather or street flooding, there will be no rain date or recheduling of the event. No refunds will be given. However, we will make every effort to provide a meaningful event. There are no medical comps, rollovers, or refunds. Transfers of registration must be completed prior to 2 weeks before the race and are at the discretion of the race director.
