CPCC Charlotte Skyline Run – April 30, 2016 – Elizabeth Neighborhood – Charlotte NC

This is a popular, long-standing, and well-attended race in Charlotte. Compete for great CASH prizes for top three overall male and female finishers ($150 for first place) or gift certificate prizes for age group winners. There’ll also be prizes for top baby jogger finishers, wheelchair 5k, and team competitors.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

An estimated 1,000-plus runners are expected to attend this family fun event which will support student scholarships and other student needs at CPCC. The Skyline Run will feature four components: a 5K Run, a 5K Walk for Health, a Family Fun Run (1 mile), and a 5K Baby Jogger Championship. Children and families will enjoy the Family Fun Run and spending time in the Kids Zone. Exciting prizes such as cash, spa sessions, restaurant gift certificates, tickets to great area events, and more will be given to age group winners.

Donate a pair of new, or gently used running shoes when you register on race day morning or at any participating Charlotte Running Company locations, (see Packet Pickup for participating locations), and receive 5% off of any store purchase PLUS a $5 discount on race registration! All shoe donations will be given to RunningWorks, a local, non-profit organization that uses sport to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness.
