Warrior’s Canvas 5k – April 2, 2016 – Banner Elk Park – Banner Elk NC

This race supports a very real and very important cause — helping our veterans readjust to life after participating in combat. Hopefully more information and registration will be added to the race website soon.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The Warrior’s Canvas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Johnson City, TN. They offer classes that are taught from a therapeutic perspective to help Veterans learn how art can help them deal with military related stress and combat related mental health issues.

All proceeds raised will go to help The Warrior’s Canvas provide a professional gallery space for Veterans to display and sell their art.
