Sand-Sational 8k – July 9, 2016 – Onslow Beach – Camp Lejeune NC

Beach running is a nice alternative to all of the pavement and trails that we’re used to. It also provides you with a flat course and beautiful scenery. Make sure to arrive with a valid ID and vehicle registration on race day in order to get access to Camp Lejeune.

Onslow Beach is North Carolina’s best kept secret and located on Camp Lejeune’s Atlantic Coast. It serves not only as a unique training area, but it’s also a fabulous vacation getaway and home of the Grand Prix Series Sand-Sational 8K Beach Run. This scenic course includes sand, dirt roads, and pavement. Sand portions include some areas where your feet may get wet depending on the tide.
