Mill Stone Half Marathon + 8K Trail Race – May 21, 2016 – ASC Greenway – Fort Mill SC

This looks like a great trail half marathon and 8k. The half marathon has an amazing price of $30 if you register before April 30th. Both races are part of the Mill Stone Trail Race Series, which offers cash prizes for overall winners in the series.

The Mill Stone Half Marathon Trail Race is a challenging trail race located at the ASC Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. There will also be an 8K option. If you are thinking that this race will be on pavement or groomed paths like many urban parks called greenways, that is not the case. The ASC Greenway is a 3000-acre natural area and the races will consist of almost all single-track, technical trails. You should have some trail running experience before this race, and there a many opportunities to check out the course with the Rock Hill Striders.
