Race for a Reason 5k – April 9, 2016 – Neck Road – Huntersville NC
Running 5ks usually isn’t cheap — so it’s always better to know that your registration money is going toward a great cause. Supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association is an excellent reason to run. It looks like the date of this race has changed to April 9, 2016.
FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS
About twelve years ago, a beloved Hopewell High School student by the name of Ryan Disney, passed away after a lifetime battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This race is put on in honor of Ryan Disney and his battle with MDA. All of the proceeds received from this event will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Assocation and help to send an individual with MDA to go to a MDA summer camp. So, help us let Ryan’s legacy live on and truly make this a “Race for Reason”!
