Purple Rubber Monkey Duck 5k – March 12, 2016 – Front Street – Beaufort NC

A race with a fun name to support an important cause. Relay for life is a great organization that includes over 2 million people in 20 countries each year to help the American Cancer Society fight cancer. Help this Relay For Life team reach their fundraising goal for 2016.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The Purple Rubber Monkey Ducks are a Carteret County Relay for Life team. This will be our 9th year participating in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. We relay for all our family, friends and community members that have had to hear those horrible words “You have CANCER”. We are a team made up of family and friends and we believe in the efforts of the American Cancer Society and the research and support they provide families during this difficult time.

We will be giving prizes to the top 3 females and top 3 males. We are also asking that each runner help us raise money and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 fundraisers.
