PLVFD 5k – March 26, 2016 – Volunteer Fire Department – Pine Level NC

Proceeds from this event will go toward the Pine Level Volunteer Fire Department memorial site and scholarship program. Be ready to get out and remember and support the fallen firefighters of Pine Level Volunteer Fire Department.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Now in its sixth year, this 5K race had 68 entrants last year. Michael Simon won the race in 21:33. Alicia Rider was the top woman finisher in 21:50. David Meeker holds the course mark of 16:51 set in 2013. Meghan Hegarty holds the women’s course record of 20:28 set in 2011.

The race takes place at the Pine Level Volunteer Fire Department located at 110 West Main Street in Pine Level. The Town of Pine Level is just a few mile east of Smithfield.
