New South Trail Marathon + Half – March 26, 2016 – US Whitewater Center – Charlotte NC

A new trail marathon in Charlotte. The US Whitewater Center is a popular place for trail running for a good reason — there are miles and miles of beautiful trails at varying difficulty. Top finishers in the full marathon will get a new GPS watch!

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The U.S. National Whitewater Center presents The New South Trail Marathon & Half Marathon, the newest long distance trail event on the Whitewater Race Series calendar. This lap-style race (two for full marathon, one for half) will take runners through the woodland trail system along the Catawba River as they traverse beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain. The Full Marathon will kick off at 8:00am followed by the Half Marathon start at 9:00am. Awards will follow both races as well as post-race festivities including beer from the NoDa Brewing Company and raffle prizes from our Whitewater Race Series sponsors.
