Go for the Gold 5k – March 12, 2016 – Croatan High School – Newport NC

Come dressed in your St. Paddy’s best because this race has a special prize set aside for the best dressed runner! There was a nice turnout of over 200 participants last year, and by the looks of the very active Facebook page, just about everyone there was decked out in fun green costumes.

Go for the Gold 5K is a St. Patrick’s day themed race for all ages and fitness levels, so get decked out in green, gold, and shamrocks and get ready to have some FUN!

Walkers, runners, and joggers alike are all welcome on this off-road 5K that loops twice around Croatan High School and its athletic fields. Get out and get active at whatever pace suits you best!

Join us after the race/waiting for results for a pancake breakfast! Pancakes, bacon, OJ–refuel and relax with your fellow participants or those who have come to support you! $5.00 per person.

All proceeds will help fund Croatan Athletics.
