Run for Kids Sake 10 Mile + 5k – June 11, 2016 – Warren Wilson College – Swannanoa NC

This race started as a 5k only several years ago, and last year an excellent 10 mile trail course was added to the mix. Both distances give you a glimpse of the beautiful campus and trails of Warren Wilson College. There is always a nice turnout of friendly runners and great volunteers. Asheville Track Club members, the 10 miler is once again part of the ATC Grand Prix!

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Run for Kids’ Sake 10-mile and 5K traverses the scenic trails on the campus of Warren Wilson College in beautiful Swannanoa (about 15 minutes east of downtown Asheville). The course is almost entirely off public streets. Enjoy pastures, creeks, woods, and enthusiastic volunteers along the course!

No dogs or strollers due to the terrain. This event raises critical funds for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Asheville and Buncombe County. See you at the starting line!
