Hot Chocolate 5k Trail Race – January 3, 2016 – Bond Park – Cary NC

It’s time to greet the New Year with a big ole mug of hot chocolate!  The course is on Bond Park’s paved and natural trails with three road crossings and moderate hills. view the course map here. Once you’ve completed the race, you’ll be rewarded for your efforts with a piping hot cup of hot cocoa!

Dog owners are welcome to run with their pups for only 5 extra dollars.  The full $5 will be donated to the Wake County SPCA.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

We’re doing something new this year to let more runners join in the fun! You’ll get to choose between a 9 AM or 11 AM race. Whichever you choose, all finishers not only get a beverage to warm their hands but also get to take home a beautiful ceramic mug to fill over and over to keep you warm until Spring arrives. As always, there’s a new mug for returning runners!

Fit & Able loves family fitness and whose four-legged furry friend isn’t part of the family? Dog owners are welcome to run with their pups in any Hot Chocolate Run race! Only one dog per registered runner and you must register your dog for them to run with you. The race will be more fun with the whole family there and you’ll be supporting a great organization in our community!

Race has two start waves; 9 AM or 11 AM.
Dog run is at 11 AM.
