Tightwad 5k – January 1, 2016 – Davidson Town Green – Davidson NC

Did you resolve to save money and run a 5k in 2016?  Now’s your chance to do both at the same time. The Tightwad 5k is a FREE race!  This will be a no-frills event.  No road closures, no tents, no sponsors.  Just you, your running shoes & your other penny-pincher running buddies.

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The run is limited to the first 40 people to sign up, so make sure you register fast! If you don’t register, you’re encouraged to be a bandit. After all, it’s free!

This is a casual run; we’ll time it manually but there’s no chip timing. There will be no awards for the runners, but volunteers will get some sweet prizes for helping out.

You want a race packet? This is not the race for you! We don’t need no stinkin’ race packets — just show up and run!
