Salem Lakeshore Frosty 50k + 25k Trail – January 2, 2016 – Winston-Salem NC

The Frosty 50k and 25k begin and end on the beautiful Salem Lake trailhead in Winston-Salem. The course is a wide rolling dirt trail around the wooded shoreline of Salem Lake with a small portion on a paved bike path along Salem Creek. Average temperature is a high of 49 and a low of 29, so wear layers and bundle up for the start!

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

The course is a loop around Salem Lake (7 miles) with an out-and-back trail add-on so that each loop is 12.5k.  There is also a 50k relay event. Each relay team must have exactly four runners.

This is a very spectator-friendly race!
