With a course that takes runners along tree-lined neighborhood streets and alongside the fairways of the golf course in the middle of this planned residential community known as the Village of Walnut Creek here in eastern North Carolina, the Heart & Sole Half Marathon & 5K makes its 6th annual running this year.
