Shop with a Cop Polar Bear 5k – December 12, 2015 – Anson County Courthouse – Wadesboro NC

Calling all elves, polar bears and reindeer to run the 3rd annual Polar Bear 5k!  This event benefits the Wadesboro Police Department’s Shop With a Cop program.  This program helps positively change the lives of children in the local community by providing them with Christmas presents that they otherwise would not receive.

FROM THE RACE DIRECTORS

100% of all proceeds from this event will go towards the Shop With a Cop program.  Each year the amount of gifts each child is able to receive depends entirely on money donated by the community, and raised through special events such as this one.

Christmas is all about being filled with the spirit of giving, and we here at the Town of Wadesboro and the  want to bring that spirit to our community. On race day, the Town of Wadesboro will be hosting a Christmas Festival uptown which will be geared towards the kids of our community.
