Vision Pool Foundation 5k + 10k – December 12, 2015 – Lake Waccamaw NC

The Vision Pool 5K and 10K offer an opportunity for anyone that has been affected by cancer to help raise money to fight for a cure.  Both courses are moderately flat and overlook beautiful Lake Waccamaw.

Running with a vision for a cure is something that the Vision Pool has made its mission to help do.

Inspired because of the fight with ocular melanoma, Teresa Pool created the “Vision Pool Foundation” in order to raise money to give to Duke University’s Hospital for eye cancer research and to give a high school scholarship to a deserving young student each year.
