Running of the Elves 5k + 10k – December 5, 2015 – Statesville, NC

This Christmas themed running event takes place in historic Statesville at night.  Both the 5k and 10k go through decorated neighborhoods. There will be people along the course singing Christmas Carols and cheering on the runners. The course is flat, fast, and FUN!

FROM THE RACE ORGANIZERS

Along with the race we will have a costume contest and an ugly sweater contest. And trust me, we will have people with some fantastic costumes! Last years event had 500 runners and was a fantastic time.

GIFT BAGS— Each runner will receive a gift bag. This year they will have a LONG SLEEVE EVENT SHIRT, Blooming Onions, Chick-Fil-A.

We are happy to announce our benefactors of this years event. Not only will you be helping SCS Athletics, you will be helping two additional non-profits.
